  3.      This distribution archive contains the evaluation version of this
  4. program.  Although the program itself is completely operational, it does
  5. contain a delay screen that will be activated after MegaD has been used
  6. 30 times.  This screen is for the purpose of notification only.  The
  7. delay screen can be remove by using the Registration option under the
  8. OUTPUT menu.  It will reset the counter to it's first run state.  MegaD
  9. evaluation version MUST be used on an unprotected disk.  If the write
  10. protect tab is set on the disk that it is booted from it will end it's
  11. run at start.  It does not contain any other irritants!

  13.      The evaluation version of MegaD is just a little particular about
  14. how it likes to run.  This is due to a unique method of adding a delay
  15. window after MegaD is used 30 times.  Now don't let this scare you away
  16. from using MegaD.  You can effectively use the evaluation version of
  17. MegaD forever and never see the delay window.  The catch is you have to
  18. attempt to print the registration form within every 30 uses of MegaD. 
  19. Wether a printer is attached or not the program usage counter will be
  20. reset ZERO and you are given 30 more uses without ever waiting for the
  21. delay window.  The counter is changed within the code of the program when
  22. you attempt to print the registration form.  This is why the evaluation
  23. version of MegaD is particular about how it is run.  Here are the two
  24. restrictions.

  26.      1.   The MegaD program must be in the current directory if run from
  27.           the CLI or you must use the full path to call MegaD from
  28.           another directory.  So if you have MegaD in the C: directory It
  29.           can be started by C:MegaD.  If MegaD is found by the use of a
  30.           PATH command it will not function properly, so if the program
  31.           resides in the C: directory and it is called by a simple MegaD
  32.           it will be started by the operating system but it will not be
  33.           able to find the code needed to change the counter, if the code
  34.           is not found it will not function.

  36.       2.  The MegaD program must reside on an unprotected disk.  If the
  37.           write protect tab is set MegaD will not function. Outside of
  38.           the above mentioned items MegaD does not contain any other
  39.           irritants!

  42. to be considered an authorized copy of the MegaD distribution archive. If

  59.       Unregistered evaluation copies of MegaD include a feature to
  60. generate a registration/order form for you.  You must have a printer
  61. attached to your computer in order to complete this.

  63.      The "Registration" menu item under the "OUTPUT" menu will open a
  64. requester that you use to fill out the necessary information.  After the
  65. information has been entered, use the Print Registration gadget and a
  66. form will be printed for you.

  68.       If you do not have a printer you can mail a letter to the address
  69. listed above requesting a registration form to be mailed to you.

  71.      If you should find problems or bugs in this version of MegaD V1.0,
  72. Please send a letter to the above address describing the problem in
  73. enough detail for me to know what the problem is.  If you are the first
  74. to submit the problem to me.  I will send you a free registered copy of
  75. MegaD (as soon as I address the problem described.)
